The Great Boulder Cricket Club is a member of the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association based in Kalgoorlie Western Australia and has been so for 55 Years. The club has two Senior Teams (A & B Grade) and five Junior Teams (2 x Under 13's, 2 x Under 15’s and an Under 17’s) competing in the EGCA.

Great Boulder Cricket Club (EGCA) 

Danny won the prestigious O’Shaughnessy Medal 2007/2008 awarded to the fairest and best cricketer in the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association. This award is determined by umpires sealed voting for each A grade game. Danny finished the season scoring 421 runs at an average of 30.70 with a highest score of 86. He took 8 catches and captured 25 wickets at an average of 15.08 with game best figures of 4 for 28. Danny also won the Jerrard Medal awarded to the champion cricketer for his Great Boulder Cricket Club. Danny represented the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association in their recent statewide Twenty20 game against Wembley Districts. He opened the batting and scored a quick fire 26 runs to set the foundation for an EGCA victory. Danny narrowly leads this seasons Boom Logistics Cricketer of the Year with 233 points, just 3 points clear of his nearest competitor  as of the 14/11/08 . 

Both the EGCA and the Great Boulder Cricket Club are proud of Danny's achievements last season and congratulate him on his nomination, the winner of this category as announced at a Gala Event Friday the 14th November at the Kalgoorlie Town Hall was Multi Sports competitor Casey Grice from the sports of Swimming, Beach Volleyball and Indoor Volleyball.

PLAYERS WANTED

The club is sourcing players for the 2008/09 season and can arrange employment and assist in locating accommodation for the right candidates.

Kalgoorlie, being a mining town offers employment with solid incomes and presents an opportunity for cricketers wanting to play good standard country cricket whilst working in the Goldfields.

Goldfields contest A division country week and participate in the state wide twenty/20 competition.
