It is with pleasure that the club can announce it has been successful in appointing Derek Gale to the position of Club Coach for the upcoming 2011/2012 season. As a former player at GBCC Derek will be the first Non – Playing coach for some time.
Derek has been back at the club helping coach the juniors on and off for the
past 2 seasons and has decided to take the plunge and enter the Senior Coaching fray. Derek was club champion in the 1985/86 season and took an impressive 57 wickets at 14.7 from 24 A grade games. He is a former Midland Guildford A Grade player and a former WA State junior representative.

Former Captain Coach Chris Johnston is staying with GBCC as a player but with his new job description was unable to reapply for the position. The club would like to thank Chris for his efforts in the role over the past couple of seasons.
Todd Altus Approaching Significant Milestones

Club Life Member and 8 times Club Champion Todd “Dougie” Altus is closing in on the magical 250 A Grade games milestone.
He has currently played 243 games and is set to reach the milestone this season.
He is also within 300 runs of passing 7,000 career runs, please keep your eye on the website for further details as the club recognizes the achievements of a true Gee Bee warhorse.
